AdventNet Simulation Toolkit supports simulation of SNMP, TL1, TFTP, and FTP manageable devices. In addition, the latest version 5.0 Beta supports Cisco IOS Software Simulation for the router devices. The IOS support will provide the necessary options from the simulator to do a telnet to the device and operate commands on the CLI Interface.
Trap simulation is supported to configure and send asynchronous events from the simulated devices to the Management Server at different scenarios on a daily or periodical basis, at the specified time. An exclusive trap stormer tool is provided to configure and send any number of traps at the specified time-interval or at the burst mode.
