Access denied, DCOM with Windows 7

Hello

In our IT Envirement we have many Windows XP Computers. With those AssetExplorer works just fine. But soon we want to migrate to Windows 7. Now we tried to scan and install the AE Agent on some Windows 7 Machines but it's not working!

The Windows 7 Computers are in the same Domain as the Windows XP Computers. When I try to scan them directly via domain, I get the Error Message:

"Either access denied for the user or the remote DCOM option might be disabled in the workstation."

Since they are in the same domain and I also tried to scan with Local Credentials of an Admin Account, "access denied" shouldn't be the problem. Yes?

I also configured the DCOM according to the troubleshoot. As well as all the other steps in the troubleshoot.

When I install the Agent manually and try to scan, I get the error:

"Failed to communicate the agent."

I'm happy to hear any suggestions. Solutions would be even better, though ;)
