ADManager Plus Build 6550 (February 2017)

New Feature:

• Support for two-factor authentication through Google authenticator, DUO, and Email Verification has been introduced. Now secure your ADManager Plus logins from credential exploitation and brute force attacks with an additional layer of safety.
• ADManager Plus extends support for Spanish, in addition to the currently supported foreign languages viz. Chinese, Dutch, French, German, Italian and Japanese

Enhancements:

• AD Reports
  1. Support for custom attributes in Contact reports: The existing custom attributes can now be mapped to Contact reports. Also, new custom attributes can be added while creating Contact objects using ADManager Plus.
  2. Export intelligent AD reports with your brand logo, in line with your corporate identity and also get a quick overview of the current reporting scenario with the Reports' summary page.
  3. The contents of the AD reports are now prefixed with serial numbers for easy sorting and better information organization while exporting.
• The 'memberOf' attribute has been enhanced with the provision to search and navigate through the selected groups for better usability and optimized loading time.
• Scheduled reports have been enhanced with provision to set custom file name for the export. Inline mail content can be predefined and sent along with the body of the mail when the scheduled export type is set as html.
• The UI of Support tab has been enhanced to offer a better user experience. It also includes, provision for viewing schedules of the upcoming workshops and events.
• Support has been added for 'OUName' attribute in Group/Computer/Contact modification while performing a CSV import action.
• Delegation
  1. Support for appending Groups under the 'Included groups' column along with the existing groups from OUs or domains that have already been delegated. Higher precedence for removal of the groups enlisted under 'Excluded groups'.
  2. You can now set attribute level authorization for 'computer and group modification tasks' while delegating help desk roles. Fine grained delegation, with provision to restrict group type-specific access, and support for single group modification has been added additionally.

Fixes:

The following issues have been fixed in this release:

• While provisioning with smart templates, the User Creation rules get set rightly for the first one, where as the consecutive rules don't get applied.
• In CSV based Bulk User Creation, the values for the 'OUName' and 'department' attributes don't get set when the value of the 'office' attribute is preset in the CSV.
• Misaligned notification emails are sent out as a part of the review based Workflow management.
• Lack of support for using naming formats in the email field when creating a user in Office 365.
• 'Advanced link' missing under the Permissions column in the Permissions for Folders Report.
• When copying the home folder, the location doesn't dynamically change with the logon name of the user to be created.
