Applications Manager 9.3 released, includes Amazon Cloud Infrastructure Monitoring

Applications Manager release 9.3 is now available for download on our website. The highlight of this release is out-of-the-box support for monitoring Amazon Web services (AWS). This feature helps IT administrators monitor the health and performance of Amazon EC2 and RDS instances as well as attached EBS volumes, as well as gain visibility into resource utilization in the cloud.

Other highlights of this release include
  • Availability and Downtime Trend Report which compares the availability of the monitor group against target availability and also shows the downtime count and total downtime for the monitor group.
  • Enhancements to SNMP Trap listener feature including the ability to set alarm severity during runtime.
  • Support for monitoring Exchange server 2010.
  • Option to monitor WebSphere Application Server through secure SSL mode.
  • Support for associating dependent devices across managed servers in the Enterprise edition and more.
