Automate sending emails to distribution list members
We are wanting to send emails to the members of each distribution list, asking them to reply if they wish to be removed or if the list is no longer needed. The body of the email would have this statement/question and list the name of the distribution list, the email address of the distribution list, and the members of the distribution list.
We created a CSV file created from a report in ADManager that lists all of the distribution lists, their emails addresses, and the members of each list.
Using that file, we want to create an automation that sends all the emails and to cc our ticketing system on each email so that the tickets for the work are created automatically.
From what we see, a script would be needed for that, but we can't find anything telling us how to create a script or what language to use for the script.
