Automation of proxyAddresses field population for users created in ADUC
I feel like this can be pulled off with a combination of scheduled reports, variables, and automation but I'm not finding a clear path through. Hopefully someone here has had to do something similar and can point me in the right direction.
After a recent move to Office 365 and the uninstall of Exchage - We have users that are created in Active Directory Users and Computers (outside of ADManager) and are not assigned the full gamut of proxyAddresses.
I'm looking for a way to use the "Recently Created User Report" to add the appropriate addresses to each user every day.
For example, user
jsmith@domain.com is created in ADUC
Report is run that finds this user being recently created and exports to a shared folder
Automatio starts and modifies users from this report to include custom attribute "proxyAddresses" with the value of "smtp:
jsmith@domain.net;smtp:
jsmith@domain2.com"
I realize the easy way to accomplish this is use the profile creation templates in AdManager but outside of that, is there an easy way to accomplish this for users created in ADUC?
