Changing Monitored Dial

I've followed the directions on how to change the snapshot.xml file to so you can use different graphs on the monitor page. It works for servers and such, but not for a Virtual Device it seems. I have virtual devices that by default, the template shows CPU Utilization, Memory Utilization, and Network Usage. I'd like to change the network usage to show the pie graph of disk usage instead. I've attached a screenshot for an example.
