Clear Alarm Issue

So we monitor several processes on servers

our notification profile is using the recurring trigger to email the group in charge of fixing the issue every 30 minutes until the process is back up.

the problem is after the issue is "clear", the "clear" alert letting them know it's fixed sends out an email every 30 minutes after that.

If I pull up active alarms on the server, I see the "clear" alerts, status clear, technician unassigned.

I currently need to manually acknowledge the alerts so the emails stop sending out from the reoccurring trigger.


How do we fix this. 

Once a process is fixed the technician should get one email letting them know it's clear, then the clear alert should go away. 
Instead, the clear alerts remain in active alarms requiring a technician to go in and manually acknowledge it to stop repeating email alerts.
