Custom template not the default on both domains

Hi there
 

I need to give Servicedesk access to perform certain tasks over two domains. Our current license is 2 domains and 5 techs.

I have created new user templates for both domains however I can only tick one or the other as default. This means that when I change domain to create user from the default, the selected template is called System Template and not the customised one I have created. I can select it from the list but am trying to make this as easy to use as possible.
 
Do you have a solution for this or can functionality be built in so that a default template of each kind can be selected for each domain in future releases?
