Database encryption on different server

Database encryption on different server

Hello everyone,

I want to set up a server to test the latest updates of the pmp. After I installed the application and restore the database the server failed to start.
First it wont let me restore the instandbackup neither but after I close all PostgreSQL processes I could install it.
This dose not help and my application still wont start.
I´ve read that the database is secured with an auto-generated password. So I copied the necessary files tho the new server and try to start the pmp....unsuccessfully.

PMP database is secured through a password, which is auto-generated and unique for every installation. The database password can be stored securely in  the PMP installation itself. However, for additional security, there is an option to store it at some other secure location accessible to the PMP server. While backup, if you have  not  selected the option  "Securely Store database password in PMP backup data" , the database password will not be available with the backup copy. You need to manually copy the database_params.conf file available under the <PMP-Installation-Folder>/conf directory.

I didn't find the option  Securely Store database password in PMP backup data. I use the version 8.5.0 build number 8504
