Deployment of office 2010 is not successful. What is wrong?
In testing out configurations within DC, I have encountered another issue. I followed the entire steps outlined at
How to Deploy MSOPP2010 without success, including the
Office Customization Tool from Microsoft.
Current install command:
\\MyServer\Installs\Microsoft\Office2010x86\setup.exe /adminfile "\\MyServer\Microsoft\Office 2010x86\x86Deployment.msp"
Upon deploying, I have rebooted the target computer, logged off/on. I have also went to the target computer, navigated to Desktop Central agent ->bin ->cfgupdate and executed it from command prompt.
The reply is that configuration is taking place, but nothing is ever installed. Typically the status stays at "Ready to Execute" on the server side.
I have also consulted the
Configuration status does not change article, also with no success.
Please advise on the solution.
