When installing distribution server i do not have an option to change the default folder where will be located all msi and patch files.

In most servers I do not have enoght free space on C drive, I need to change it to D,E or F drive letter

Is it a way to install a distribution server and change the repository folder to another location?

Thanks for the post.

Currently separating Repository from Desktop Central Distribution server is not supported. However, let me forward this to my development team.

Alternatively, you can post this requirement in the Road-map tool of Desktop Central. This would help others to view this requirement and vote for it to come on top. Coming on top definitely would be given priority.

What I did to resolve folder locations was.

Uninstall DesktopCentral Server.

Install DesktopCentral Server in an storage drive only D:\DesktopCentral_Server instead of C:\DesktopCentral_Server so all patch and deployment software restricted by the free operaive system space,

What is left are Distribution Server, doing the same thing.

I hope in a future versions location folder can be manipulated and administrated by the Web console.

I appreciate your update.

What you have done is the same recommendation we do to overcome the repository redirection. I've already forward this to the development team to support this so that the manual uninstall and reinstall process is minimized.
