Did you know: You can now notify end users, on-the-go, about password expiration with a push notification

How convenient would it be to notify your OWA and other remote users of their password expiration on their mobile devices? 

ADSelfService Plus helps you schedule push notifications, intimating users with mobile apps about their soon-to-expire passwords, on-the-go.

Note: For this feature to work, users must have the ADSelfService Plus mobile app installed and opted for push notification.

How to make it work?

The admin has a simple task of setting up a notification scheduler for the users under his domain.

This is how it is configured

  •   Log in to your ADSelfService Plus portal and click the Configuration tab
  •   Go to Password Expiry Notification under Self-Service
  •   Select Add New Notification
  •   Choose the domain and the type of notification 
  •   Choose Push notification under Notify via 
  •   Select the notification frequency
  •   Customize the message

   To enable this feature for select users (Enrolled/ Disabled/ Password Expired Users)Click Advanced button, on the bottom-right corner, to choose your audience. 

What's better? You can schedule notifications for account expiration too.
