Error: Host Name is Empty

Hi,

I am trying to add a new windows monitor for a Windows 2012 server using WMI, but even providing all the details and after a successful authentication the monitor does not get created.

Error:
1008 Could not initiate monitoring Failed Discovery failed for the configured resource.Refer our troubleshooting section for more details.     Diagnose the Problem?

I am able to ping the server and the user account does have a administrator privileges. But still failing to add a windows monitor.

Please help.
