Is Opmanager ready to monitor Vmware Vsphere4 esx servers?
Hi,
As of now OpManager does not support vSphere. We are working on providing support for vSphere.
Unlike ESX 3.5, in ESX 4 vmware have changed the SNMP implementation moreover SNMP offers limited information, hence we decided to support the VMWare API's to provide comprehensive support for vSphere. Please be assured that it will be available in our next major release.

My customer bought Opmanager 8 and unable to monitor the snmp vmware ESX 4. So is there any extra cost for me if there is a update for monitoring ESX 4. Thank you
Is there any news on this .. same problem here.. no extra info on the ESX 4 servers

Already few of the existing customers were using the preview release. The feedback is positive. If you are interested, you can send a mail to support at opmanager dot com , to have a look at the new version. It will be released with the next OpManager service pack.

Does Build 8052 support the vSphere ESX servers? If not, is there any plan or update in regards to when these servers will be supported by OpManager?
We are currently using Build 8052 for OpManager and still cannot properly monitor the ESX vSphere servers, is there an update on where this stands?
Hello - We are thinking of using opmanager; it ticks many boxes and the trial has gone well, but we need to know when vsphere will be supported??

Hi Peter,
Thanks for evaluating OpManager.
In a weeks time we will be ready with closed beta of the new service pack. It will be tested in few of our customer environments. So we need at least 3 to 4 weeks from now to make it public with GA build.
