Limit Technician to set request to a specific status?

Limit Technician to set request to a specific status?

Hi All:

isn't possible to limit the technician to set the request to "Close" only? (not to resolve).

I would like limit the technician not to close the request but set the request to "resolved" once the resolution provided.
the request should only closed by user or the system.
