List of SDP Features for Upcoming Releases
Hi All,
As promised, please find the list of features planned for SDP for upcoming releases.
Hot Fix Release � (ETA � 17th March 2006)
- Fixes more than 20 issues reported by customers including the HTML email issue discussed here. See release notes next week for full list.
New Features currently in development (ETA � Mar / April 2006)
Request form fields customization (mandatory, to be hidden from requester)
Custom report framework enhancement
More out-of-the-box reports
Other Reports module enhancements
Support for ITIL best practices - Problem management
Support for multiple sub-tasks for a particular request
Localization in different languages
Next Release � Q2 2006
MS-SQL support
Preventive maintenance - > Scheduled requests
Technician Calendar
Pre-defined workflow templates for special request types (for eg. New Employee request, location change request)
Sync with AD, mapping fields from AD
Survey Feature enhancements
HTTPS support
Creating follow-up tasks for requests
Support for submitting requests without logging in
Creating a Department head role (for a department head to login into the Self-Service portal to see all the requests from his/her department, and a manager role (to see reports)
Workstation Details in a printable page view
Supporting for inline images in solutions, requests (when requests are received thro emails)
Editing multiple requests, requesters, workstations at the same time. (Moving several requests to a particular category)
Attaching documents with PO, Asset, Requester,.. (support to edit attachment in contract)

Note: We will continue to release hot-fixes to address critical issues as and when they occur.
