Need to acces database - Running on Linux - Tochange the request start number

Need to acces database - Running on Linux - Tochange the request start number

Hi I have seen the queries to change the number where tickets start from however I can not seem to access the database in my linux ServiceDesk installation.  Can someone provide some help and point me in the right direction to acces the database and change the starting request number to 2048?  Thank you.
