Note that the specific concern regarding 'Sandworm' is not longer applicable. The Microsoft patch MS14-060 is now available in the Desktop Central portal.
However, the question regarding the manual download of patches for DTC deployment is still a question. The steps described here did not seem to work -

We would like to deploy the Microsoft security patch for 'sandworm' to our workstations tonight.
However, this patch from MS (MS14-060) is not yet showing up in the Desktop Central database.
and downloaded one of the patches from Microsoft. But when I go back to Desktop Central to try and configure a deployment this patch is not showing.
Alternatively does anyone know when the patches for Sandworm will be available in the DTC portal?
Any thoughts? Thanks.
