Notifications not sent when requester email address contains "noreply"?

Are notifications to technicians not being sent when the requester's email address contains "noreply" or other key words?

We have notifications enabled e.g. for new requests and added reponses.
These notifications work well except for one account where the requester (in fact: a connected system) is sending its emails from "noreply".

We do not get notifications for those events. Other requester's in that same account work well.
