I've decided to implement reading custom performance counter by using the script monitor and reading the result from an output file.

Now I encounter a new problem, I would like to present the value in a graph, hence I need to enable the report. 

If I use a string attribute I see the calculated 

value from the script in the string attribute details table but I don't see the value reflected in a graph.

When I use a numeric attribute an empty graph is created but the calculated value from the script is never shown or reflected in the graph (No data available message) .

The script just write to an output file a constant value.

Any help would be appreciated,
