Pre-Deployment Activities - Kill Windows Defender Running Process
Trying to better understand the Pre-Deployment Activities.
Deploying our TrendMicro OfficeScan to systems lacking the agent we have discovered Windows likes to enable Windows Defender when our Typical solution is not installed. Windows Defender also apparently prevents installations of Trend. So we would like to utilize the Kill & Proceed before software deployment feature.
Condition: Check Running Process
Process Name*:
- What would be a feasible Process name?
- "Windows Defender"?
- "WinDefend" ?
- "C:\windows\System32\svchost.exe -k secsvcs"?
Define Action: Kill & Proceed with Installation
Windows 7 x64 Enterprise
