Hi,

I recently installed IT360 in one of my machines. After installation, I started IT360 server. After a sometime, the browser opened with the message "Server is Initializing". After about 10 minutes or so, I am still seeing the same message.

Should I stop the service and restart it? How should I proceed?

Please advice.

TIA,

Bernard.

This can happen for a host of reasons :

1. If the system does not meet the minimum requirements as prescribed @ http://www.manageengine.com/it360/help/meitms/setup-meit360/system_requirements.html

2. If the default port for IT360 is modified. There are every possibilities that this port is occupied by any other module within IT360 and there is a port clash. We could get this identified through the logs.

3. Another possibility would be that any module failed to initialize during start-up on the account of excessive JVM usage. Reinitializing the particular module and starting it once again should resolve this. It is recommended that re-initialization is done with the help of a Support Personnel.

4. There could be another ManageEngine product which is installed on the same server as IT360. This is more related to point 2 as discussed above.
