Use-case 14: How To Manage Employee Account Changes When Moving To Another Department In Your Active Directory

Through ADManager Plus Modification Rules on templates, you can choose a querying field and add conditions. If the conditions match, the attributes that linked to the conditions change dynamically



Step 1: Kindly go to AD Mgmt --> User Management --> User Templates--> User Modification Templates.

Click on Create New Template.








Step 2: Click on Modification Rules  --> Create New Rule. 






Step 3: Now click on Add condition --> Choose the department --> Choose the attributes to be changed (OU name & Group Membership).

Likewise, you can add multiples rules in a template and click on Save Template once you have completed it. 







Step 4: Kindly to AD Mgmt --> User Management --> User Creation --> Modify Single User.

Choose the User --> Click on Modify --> Choose the template and click on Update.
