What direction is Servicedesk Plus post 9+ going?

What direction is Servicedesk Plus post 9+ going?

Hello guys,

I am wondering: what direction is SDP+ version post 9.x going? Some things seem somewhat troubling: the past year there have been a number of announcements:
  1. Advanced System Tools from Servicedesk Plus - 19 days ago
  2. Introduction of Purchase Request - 1 month ago
  3. Servicedesk Plus UI Revamp: Request Module - 11 months ago
  4. Introduction of New Rich Text Editor - 7 months ago
  5. Time Spent by Technician - Group for Request - 1 year ago
  6. Option for technicians to mark tickets that they are currently working on - 1 year ago
  7. And much more: ... in the Feature Request list...
How about all those features asked, being given a Feature ID to be tracked... then what? Is there a vote system that's useless?

To me it seems that there is hardly a serious plan, a correlation between all of it. There is a roadmap here:  http://www.manageengine.com/products/service-desk/roadmap.html. This roadmap mentions stuff that's on there since version 7x (Asset barcode scanning)... while others are hardly features that require a new version number: "Additional fields for Solution", "Option to link Solutions", "Ability to associate request with project", "Requester can add comments over solution article"...etc. 

What is the actual plan for SDP+ please. I really would like to hear a solid story here.
