Slow Speed of remote control through Desktop Central
Hi, There is a problem that we have and I don't know the exact reason. While we are using the desktop central the speed is fine but when we start remote control on a desktop system the speed is too low. we even change the color quality to low too but still it is slow. and sometimes it s less time consuming for technician to go directly to the system instead of controlling remotely on it. Could you please tell me the reason? and why is that? Is it because of our network or desktop central? Best Regards

Hi We have Desktop Central 9 setup and we have our primary server IP as the LAN Address and the secondary as the external IP. We find that when we go to carry out remote control sessions, the users computer is showing as online, but when we try to connect the agent immediately shows as offline. Many of our users are remote and off our domain so i need to ensure that remote control is working (where possible as we cannot control 3rd party firewalls) The agent then comes back online after a few minutes.

Remote Control - viewing user's desktop - image quality blurry
Hello everyone, I recently noticed that when I use the remote control tool to connect to a user's desktop the video quality is kind of blurry. I can't exactly say when this started and I haven't changed any settings - only installed DC updates. I was looking for settings/ways to improve the video quality and bring it back to where it was before. Remote Session - Darken Screen
I'm curious if there is a way to change what the "Darken Screen" option actually shows when on a remote session. Often times a user will just think the computer is off or frozen so they'll attempt a hard shutdown of the computer. It'd be beneficial if we could change this to a splash image of our choosing. That way we can put a generic "Help Desk is currently remoted onto this computer" message to display on the screen with number for them to call if needed.
