About Windows /Linux Monitoring.

Myself Rajesh.
I am very New to Applications Manager Product. Currently we are using 12700 Licensed version.
I just want to know about Windows and Linux servers Monitoring in Applications manager.
Windows servers are added with WMI and SNMP. Linux servers are added with SSH mode.
Please clarify below questions,
1)How the Applications Manager will collect the data from the remote machine with WMI ?
2)Will Applications manager send any query or request to the target machine on WMI mode?
3)How the Applications Manager will collect the data from the remote machine with SSH ?
4)Will Applications Manager always verify the serves health status or it will check at every 5 or 10 mints?
5)What is polling interval and poll before count ?
6)What is WMI?
7)This Applications Manager will support for High Availability?(Including application+SQL DBA)
8)What is Max server count Monitors in one Managed server.
9)Role of the Admin server.
