advice to fully utilized OpManager's capabilities?

OpManager build 11400
as the subject says.
We currently have OpManager up and running. We've set up a few notifications profile but that's about it.
We need advice on a few things to make use of its full capabilities such as:

We need advice on a few things to make use of its full capabilities such as:
- real-time monitoring of server/switch network CPU/interface
- set threshold of network port's utilization (so we're informed if there's congestion)
- general advice on how to answer the usual "the network today is a bit slow, isn't it?"
- and other nice tips and tricks
is this forum a good place to ask these?
Or is there a more appropriate place?
(this is not a technical issue but more of requesting a how-to advice)
