Booting to Agent Takes a Long Time
Recently I got our PXE server working and was doing testing in our environment. We found very quickly that booting into the Agent often took five minutes or more to get to a point where we could start taking or deploying an image.
The screen we get stuck on is the one where it says "Reading all physical volumes. This may take a while..."
To me 5+ minutes is way too long considering taking an image off of a base machine only takes 5-10 mins. Is there a way to speed this up? Perhaps its something in our configuration that is making it take this long? It just bugs me that 1/4 or more of the time it takes blow down an image is just booting the agent.
