Discards rate for port errors

I recently rebuilt my OpManager server using version 7 (couldn't wait for the upgrade ) and I am very pleased with some of the new features. I am getting one error that I would like to turn off.

I keep getting messages about Discard rate for port [interface name] %

I installed OpManager7-Hotfix as the documentation showed that it cleared up this error, however, I am still receiving them on my Cisco devices. I believe the discard flags are being caused by my access lists. Our network is divided into administrative and student. Students only have access to certain devices/servers on the administrative side. I believe these alarms are because a student device is trying to access an administrative device that is being blocked by the access-list causing the packets to be discarded.

Can someone help me disable this alarm globally?
