Esx's not classified as "ESX servers" once deleted and re-discovered in Verion 11.6

Esx's not classified as "ESX servers" once deleted and re-discovered in Verion 11.6

Hi

We are testing version 11.6 (still running in // version 11.4), for that I've added one of our vcenter 5.5. After like 15min, we were able to see all the vm's & the 2 esx's, everything were classified in the "virtual" tab as expected.

- Problem is when i delete the 2 esx's, then a force to re-discover via the vCenter, they re-appear couple minutes later but they never came back as ESX server in the "virtual" tab !!

- Same behavior with the Vcenter, if you delete it, and re-add it : vm will come back, Vcenter also but will never be classified as a Vcenter again....Only shown in "All Devices"

- Let say if you have 2 sets of 2 esx's in separate clusters (4 esx in total but splitted in 2 clusters) If they are running vm's having the same ip adresses , you will randomly see only one of the 2, not the complete inventory.... This problem also exist in version 11.4. Why it's not possible to have 2 vm having the same IP adress ??

- Why when I navigate to Virtual Devices, selecting a Vcenter that's redirect us out of the Virtual inventory.. ? Annoying

Will list couple other problems later

Regards

Thierry
