I am wondering if there is any possibility to check all systems/certain systems for the existence of a specific file or folder?

I could have needed such a feature a few times by now.

As far as I see the reports only access already "collected" data (information about computers and software)?

So asking to collect completely new information the reports cannot help..(?)

I have thought of a batch script to run on everyclient like:

If *Folder* exists => write *date/time* & *computername* & "exists" to logfile in networkshare..

Is there a more "elegant" way to achieve this?

Is there a type of configuration which just "checks" a file/folder and reports back via the execution status?
