I need a script so that, on a request form submission, it will be possible to automatically set specific asset attribute of the selected asset with value set in a request form filed (i.e. on request submission, the  value in imput in this form field should update a corresponding asset attribute of the selected asset).

the scenario is this:

I have several assets consisting of photocopies machines  managed through SDP asset's module. All users can ask for service support thorugh a photocopy service request form available to them. 

This form, together with the asset's field in which it is possible to select the machine requiring assistance,  present other fields designed to support the specific photocopies machine service. Among these fields there are some that, once filled by the requester with a value, I would like to use  to automatically update the corresponding  asset's attribute. 

For example, one of this field in the request form ask for the "total number of copies" the selected photocopy machine has produced at the date of the request. I need a script so that, on form submission, this value (the total number of copies) automatically update the relative attibute field for the selected machine.
