I am trying the Desktop Central 7. Are there a way to make filter by group in SoM screen. In the first installation and set up the software, it discovers 500+ PCs. I selected some and make group for them. Can I use filter by group in SoM screen to manage them and select by group to install agent software.

 

When I select the computer for agent software installation, I need to  edit the Credentials with corresponding domain name, admin account and password. Do I have to have the same user ID and password as the user logon the computer for install agent software. Since all PCs join the same domain, I tried to use the Domain "administrator" account and password for the selected PC to install the agent software, but some PC fail with "network path not found". Actually, the failed PC up and I can logon locally of the domain by administrator account. Since I do not want to disturb users when I install the agent software, I prefer to use remote installation from the server ( Windows XP installed with Desktop central 7). Any suggestion?
