Full message chain in email reply to client

I am trying to get the full email chain each time a reply is sent to the client.  So far I have only been able to get the original request and the new reply but all the replies in between are missing.  I tried to ask support but my question was misunderstood.

Our clients current interaction with our ticketing system is through email only. While the internal support gets to it through a web interface. We would likely continue to use that model when we move to the new system. I have been trying to find a way to get the system to respond to requests with the entire email chain but have been unable so far. I have a made up example below. I expect the customer to see all the previous replies in each reply that the get. For instance, when the customer gets the 5th message, I expect them to see all the previous, 1 through 4, in that same email without the technician having to add all that data into the reply field. Is this possible? I did not see a variable that would accomplish that. I have only been able to get the original request to be sent with each reply.


1. Customer Request: Website Broken
2. Technician reply: Could you provide more details on the error you are receiving.
3. Customer Reply : When I hit the save button to update my preferences I get an invalid input error.
4. Technician Reply: Thank you for the update.
5. Technician Reply: It looks like you entered a bracket in the description field. Could you try again without the brackets.
6. Customer Reply: Thanks that worked.
