Hello,

I need assitance regarding profile aplied GPS: Always ON

This settings is not functioning. Every time we aplied this profile to a device, we disable permanently geo tracking on the device, and we need to wipe the device to activate it again.

Please, we need assitance.

Do you mean GPS:Always On profile is not working on the device? and also could you share me why you are wiping the device ?. This information would help me to assist you better.

Hello Dinesh,

I mean that when I apply GPS: Always ON profile in a device, the device turns on the GEO TRACKING but when you try to locate the device, MDM is saying that is not activated. 

We are wiping the device coz once you applied the profile, you can not disabled in again in the phone, it still enabled even you erase the profile in the device. The only way to deactivate it is to wipe the phone.

We have a lot of diferent versións and phone models, and the problem is happening in all of them.

Some examples:

4.1.2
GT-I8190
4.4.2 GT-I9195
5.1.1 SM-J500FN
5.0.1 GT-I9505
5.0.2 SM-A300FU

Please let me know, how you have enrolled the devices, like standard email enrollment or using NFC enrollment?

Also share me your MDM Plus build number and let me know whether these devices are Personal[BYOD] devices OR Corporate Devices [provided by company]?

Yes I know, but Modifying a Profile, create a new profile doesn’t change nothing on our devices. Once you apply GEO tracking always ON, there is no way to disable it again if needed, and if you apply that profile in the device, GEO tracking doesn’t work. That’s why we need a wipe.
