Getting notification about update in progress, but not updating
I have received a few notifications recently:
" Dear Customer,
" Dear Customer,
We are glad to inform you that ADSelfService Plus Updates are downloaded successfully.
ADSelfService Plus restart is in progress to apply the downloaded updates.
Thanks & regards,
ADSelfService Plus"
But when i check build number, it is still on 5326. So why does it say that update is in progress? We are only using the Free Passwod Expiry Reminder tool part of ADSelfService Plus. Installed as a service on Windows Server 2012.
What is the recommended way of upgrading its version? Should i just stop it, install newer build on top and start the service again? Should i reinstall the service itself?
