Help with SNMP and MSA P2000
Hello,
I try to get events from our MSA P2000 G3.
My steps:
- Added OpManager Host to
Trap Host 1 Address, Notification Level - Information (for testing), Read Community - Public, White Community - Private. Nothing else.
- In Opmanager I successfully discovered device.
- Created E-Mail Notification, chose Criteria: Hardware in problematic condition, Interface or switch port has some problems, when any SNMP trap is received from the device (chose all traps), When any Configuration is changed, when any event log Rules generates alarm and selected Device MSA P2000.
- Uploaded HP P2000 MIB File msa2000traps.mib via Tools\MIB Browser
But I did not get any email notifications.
When I go to Alarms\Events I receive events like:
"No Trap Parser defined for received trap: TrapOid :Enterprise hpMSA Generic Type: 6 Specific Type: 3002 Variable Bindings: .1.2.6.1.3.94.1.11.1.3.32.128.0.192.255.21.11.209.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.10055526: 10055526, .1.3.6.1.3.94.1.11.1.7.32.128.0.192.255.21.11.209.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.10055526: Event type: 402, Managed logs wrapped: A log region has wrapped, and log debug, region code 8)
