Hi,

What is the build number of your Applications Manager installation? What is your back-end DB ?MYSQL or MSSQL?

What is the OS type you have installed Applications Manager? Windows or Linux?

Thanks & Regards,
Paul Jacob

Hi,

In 10030 build we have provided option to change the IP address and hostname of the server from UI itself.

Go to the host server monitor of the Oracle DB. Eg: Monitors Tab-->Windows-->List view-->Select the host server-->From drop down select Update IP-->There will be options to refresh hostname in th pop-up. Also option is there to set hostname as IP itself.

So, i did this. I changed the IP from the Host. But i cant change from the Oracle Server. Here is a screen from the monitor:

10.31 is the new IP, and 0.156 is the old IP.

Hi,

Make sure Applications Manager is running. Open a command prompt window and go to ..Appmanager_home\bin\troubleshooting folder and run below command:

updateHostName.bat mysqlport 192.168.0.156 192.168.10.31 appmanager

In the above command replace mysqlport with the value of am.mysql.port=xxxxx from your AMServer.properties file under ..\Appmanager9\conf folder. (Open with wordpad)

Eg:

updateHostName.bat 13326 192.168.0.156 192.168.10.31 appmanager

Run the command only for once. Then stop and start Applications Manager and then check the status.

Thanks & Regards,
