IE 11 push via Desktop Central

Hi all,

I've been tasked with deploying Internet Explorer 11 (32-bit) to my organization. We're using Windows 7 Professional (64-bit). The reason we're using a 32-bit browser is because many of our core applications require 32-bit IE (ridiculous, I know).

I've used one of the pre-packaged templates, but each time I try to push it fails (unknown error code 40015). 

No biggie - we can also push the 64-bit (confirmed working). However, if this is the route I need to pursue, what would be the best methodology to remove the shortcut to the 64-bit version of IE 11?
