Mail Fetching status monitoring

Mail Fetching status monitoring

Hi Support,

Is there any way to monitor 'Mail Fetching status' for incoming and outgoing mail ?
Via API/powershell/etc ?

Sometimes it stopped working and you find out that after a week.
Also how to start/stop mail fetching via API/powershell ?
