Managing floating licenses

Hello, this is my first post here.

As I did not find an answer, I have to ask for your help.

We have a software, that has multiple single seat licenses, and a few floating licenses. I would like to somehow set, that if someone has that program installed, and does not have assigned a single seat license, it is possible, that he is using the floating license. But Desktop Central shows me, that that program is under licensed, because many computers use floating license...

Of course, for the sake of knowing how many floating licenses we have, I don't want to change that value, so DC will show me i'm in compliance.

TL;DR
  • We have 7 single-seat licenses (6 assigned to computers) and 3 floating licenses,
  • Software is installed on 21 computers (because of floating licenses),
  • Desktop Central yells at me, that software is under licensed.

What's the best approach?

Appreciate your forum post.

Please be informed that, Floating license is not supported by Desktop Central as of now. Due to which, this license is not taking as a correct license file.

I have forwarded this requirement to the team to add in the road-map list and will update upon its support via Newsletter.

I like this idea.  It should also be added into ServiceDesk Plus applications also.
