Manual mode download of Java Update

Hi all,

Greetings from Desktop Central Technical Support Team.

A quick intermittent update on the Java download issue.  Recentrly Oracle has introduced License Agreement acceptance while downloading the product.  This is causing the issue with Java downloads.  Desktop Central team is working on this to handle it.  However, during that time you can deploy the recent Java patches as prescribed below.
Step1 : Please download the executables from the URL given below
Step2 : Now rename the executables by prefixing the given numbers.
  • jre-7u4-windows-x64.exe as 300320-jre-7u4-windows-x64.exe
  • jre-7u4-windows-i586.exe as 300318-jre-7u4-windows-i586.exe
  • jre-6u32-windows-x64.exe as 300323-jre-6u32-windows-x64.exe
  • jre-6u32-windows-i586.exe as 300321-jre-6u32-windows-i586.exe
Step3 : Copy all Java files to 'Desktop Central Server Patch store' directory and paste.  Now you can sync the patch DB and deploy the java updates.
This would help you to deploy the latest patches in Java.
