Monitoring of Windows 2012 R2 Server

In release notes of OpManager 11.6, it mention 'OpManager now extends its monitoring capability by supporting Windows 2012 R2 servers'. May I know whether OpManager 11500 also support monitoring of Windows 2012 R2?
