Moving Database failing at first step
Server 1 MS Server 2012R2= Database Server with Microsoft SQL 2014 (wsus database is the only database on it right now)
Server 2 MS Server 2012R2= DesktopCentral 9.0.0 and wsus (wsus server has no problems talking to the DB server above)
Try to move the database from Server 2 to Server 1, but keep the APP running on Server 2
Ran changeDBServer.bat as administrator, Database Type as SQL Server (only option), Host Name as Server 1, Port is greyed out. Clicking on Available SQL Server Instances gives me the following error: "Socket Time out while fetching the database instances from host:"
If I continue the setup using Windows Authentication and put in the domain name, user name and password, click save, the error: Unable to fetch the SQL instances
I think my SQL server is using port 1433, the above error says trying to connect to 1434, how do I fix this or get this to work?
