Notifications not working

Hello,
 
I have setup a some notification profiles; the first one is just normal email notification and is all the time for everything to my own mail box. The second one is from 1600 -> 0900 every day for everything; this one is an email based sms notification profile.
 
What I am confused by is that the email notification seems to be working well each and every time...whereas the email based sms notification profile seems to pick and choose when it sends the notifications.
 
The attached image shows my inbox (on the right) with 2 events raised around 0300 (so should have been sent to both profiles). The left side of the image shows the notification trigger report, which shows that the Email profile (DatabaseAdministrator) was triggered, but the sms email based profile (TroyGriffiths) was not.
 
The sms email based profile does work, as in the attachment you can see an event that was sent through to my phone for another event (underlined in red).
 
I assigned the same notification profiles to all the devices I am currently testing with using the quick configuration wizard; and also checked the individual devices to make sure the notification profiles exist (they do).
 
Can you please let me know whether I have done something wrong or where I should check to make sure that this works; we can't have a monitoring solution in place that is not reliable for monitoring, so would love to understand why this has happened.
