OpManager 11600 re-apply a template on a VM removes all VMware monitors
Hi,
the title pretty much says it all: a vCenter with a few hundred hosts, SNMP-enabled and a few custom templates. Whenever I make an adjustment to the template and force a re-apply on the associated devices to reflect those changes, all the VMware monitors are lost, and we're unable to re-add them manually. The only way to have the new templates distributed while keeping also the VMware metrics is to remove and re-add the whole vCenter.
It looks like the device loses the information that is a VM and its association to the vCenter appliance.
Could you give me a hint on how to solve this?
