OpManager Probe clarification

Hi, I'll take care of a modest deployment of products manageengine for a single customer with a single data center .
I will be using Op Enterprise Manager , and I would understand if it is mandatory to install " probe" ?
if this is necessary, you can install " probe" on the same server windows of OP managers central?

My installation will also include Op Enterprise Manager , with numerous plug -in :

-NFA Interface ( Plug - in)
-APM Plug -in
-Capacity Planning Addon
-add On APM Plug -in
-IPAM & SPM Plug -in
-NCM Devices (Plug - in)

the management of these will be centralized through the console OpManager Central, you can view the monitoring server / network detected by "probe " into the console of OpManager Central? or I will have to type the ' web address of Probe to display the monitoring server and network ?
