I have just setup a few process monitors on one of our WebServers to monitor the various processes for w3wp.exe which we have a number of instances of.

 

So I have added the processes and ticked both path and arguments so that I can monitor each individual one, however it would appear as though when the process is restarted Opmanager doesn't pickup the new instance of the process.

 

I have readded the process again and then compared the "arguments" from each and it would appear as though the GUID is different for each:

Can someone please advise what I need to do so that the processes can be monitored over time even when the process is restarted?

 

I am on the current version (8723); from what I can tell from my searches this used to be an issue but was rectified with a newer release, so the current version should be able to do this. Maybe :)
