I have recently created a custom script monitor to monitor a LOG file.

Which is going good and I am able to get the results in TEST SCRIPT option.

But the problem here is, in the INSTANCE String if I have more than 85 characters, Opmanager is not creating an alarm for that.

Need to know whether there is a character limit for the INSTANCE string in the output of a custom script monitor.

2)

I need to know how can we display Message that we get from script out to alarm message.

we are able to get Instance object value using $INSTANCE variable , but like same, we need to get the MESSAGE output in Alarm message in threshold.
